David Zettler is a doctoral student at TU Wien in the field of mathematical economics. He studies the interaction between population heterogeneity and economics, as well as the computational methods required to solve economic models with a highly heterogeneous population. Before moving to TU Wien, he studied mathematics with economics as secondary subject, and attained a master’s degree in mathematics from the Technical University of Munich. His area of specialization was probability theory. David’s current research is about the consequences of social security reforms on various dimensions of demographic heterogeneity.
