Ilenia Gheno

Ilenia oversees the overall coordination of AGE European projects, from the use of the financial resources to the contractual issues and implementation.

She manages the personnel budgets of the over 10 European projects AGE is involved in and plans the use of staff resources in the mid and long-term. She works directly on European projects related to universal design, health and ehealth, accessibility, new technologies, rooting for a genuine involvement of older adults in projects and monitoring the ethical implications in research.
She is moreover active in disseminating the projects’ results, with the goal to bring scientific evidence to European policy makers and stakeholders.
