Kate Dearden

Kate works as a project coordinator for Population Europe. She will be working with the FutuRes consortium on dissemination and communication of the research findings throughout the project. Specifically, she will work to facilitate a participatory policy lab, where scientists, policymakers and stakeholders will engage on the project findings and how to apply them to policy needs.

Kate is a migration policy expert, with an academic background in sociology and political science. She worked as an international civil servant and is adept with bringing together and working across policy, academic and civil society spheres.
