FutuRes Policy Lab launched with expert debate on labour market policy
With a public panel debate of European policy experts we have launched the “FutuRes Policy Lab”. The experts joined us online on June 27 2023 to discuss the question: “Work better to work longer? Quality of working life as key to a more resilient labour market”.
FutuRes Head of research Arnstein Aassve spoke with Beatrice Covassi, Member of the European Parliament, with the president of the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, Jutta Allmendinger, with Massimiliano Mascherini, Head of the Social Policy Department at the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound), and with Ulrich Becker, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich.
The "FutuRes Policy Lab" will be our platform for exchange between research and policy experts in Europe. Together, we will investigate policy strategies to promote societal resilience.
“How long should we work?” - is this the right question? What if the question was: “How can we work better?”
This is the first event of the FutuRes Policy Lab, where decision-makers from research, politics, business and civil society discuss resilience-enhancing policies.
