For the first time ever, the EU has a Commissioner dedicated to Intergenerational Fairness: Glenn Micallef will prepare an EU Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness that ‘takes fully into consideration the impact of today’s decisions on future generations, and seeks feedback from all age groups.’ 

This is why our partner AGE Platform Europe are dedicating their Annual Conference to Intergenerational Solidarity in Europe. High-level speakers include FutuRes Head of Research Prof. Arnstein Aassve.

AGE Platform Europe envisions an inclusive society, based on well-being for all, solidarity between generations and full entitlement to enjoy life, participate in and contribute to society. AGE Platform has contributed to the FutuRes Policy Lab, the Myth Busts, the Citizen Workshop and the report on policies against ageism.
